Trillium Construction is seeking an experienced Industrial Construction Superintendent for a client in Salisbury, MD.
Our client specializes in water and wastewater treatment infrastructure projects. As the Construction Superintendent, you will play a vital role in overseeing all phases of industrial construction projects.
Your expertise in coordinating workers, materials, and equipment will ensure that specifications are met, work progresses smoothly, and projects are completed on time and within budget.
With projects currently in Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania, travel will be an integral part of our client’s success.
Projects range from $100,000 and a couple of months to $15 million over 18 months.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Self-perform 80% of the work with own crews, so you will be managing onsite crews that will follow your leadership.
- Develop a comprehensive and cost-effective plan and schedule for project completion, optimizing resource utilization.
- Coordinate the work of subcontractors across different project phases, ensuring seamless collaboration and adherence to architectural and engineering drawings and compliance with regulations.
- Supervise onsite employees, reviewing reports, addressing safety concerns, and resolving any reported deficiencies.
- Track and control construction schedule and costs, ensuring project completion within allocated time and budget.
- Maintain open communication with administration, owners, and architects, providing progress updates and recommending modifications when necessary.

Job Qualifications :
- Graduation from a four-year degree program in construction management, construction science, or related fields. Candidates with additional training in business administration and accounting will also be considered.
- A minimum of five years of experience assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity in and industrial construction setting.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, effectively coordinating multiple activities and groups to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and project coordination.
- Ability to travel to jobsite locations and stay out of town when required.
- Travel to Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and any other future project site will be an integral part of your role, allowing you to broaden your experience and make a difference.
