Security Officer - Unarmed Media Patrol Part-Time

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and interact with employees and visitors. Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeTue01 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 PMThur03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Observe and report any security-related incidents or unusual activity within the location.

Communicate clearly with team members and site management regarding security-related matters.

Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues within the location.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

A valid guard card or license is preferred.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

A current CPR certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
