Webull is seeking a highly motivated junior or mid-level attorney to support our legal team and business units. This position provides a great opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic company.
This position will report to our Associate General Counsel.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal and regulatory advice to business teams with respect to a broad mix of transactional, risk management, and compliance needs.
- Support and advise the compliance department on regulatory inquiries and enforcement actions; participate in enforcement matters as needed.
- Collaborate with and manage outside counsel.
- Manage ongoing litigation and arbitration at all phases, including represent the firm in smaller litigation and arbitration matters, as appropriate.
- Coordinate and participate in all aspects of discovery and internal investigations.
- Provide additional assistance to business and other legal team members as needed, including on contracts, marketing, product development, and other issues.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school and member in good standing of at least one state bar.
- 3+ years experience in a law firm or regulatory enforcement
- Broker-dealer experience significantly preferred. Other eor regulatory experience will be considered a plus
