LHH has partnered with a long time client in search of a Design Engineer. This is a fully onsite role with an amazing team of passionate engineers.
This person will have attention to detail and the full scope of design experience. Someone with a strong passion for engineering is desired.
What you will do :
- Design new engineering products and processes.
- Craft models and drawings of products using CAD.
- Analyze prototype data and retest if needed.
- Research new product ideas and methods as well as improving existing products / processes.
- Ensure compliance with the industry’s safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Find creative design solutions to problems.
- Present prototypes and designs to customers and project managers.
- Execute strategic goals for the company.
- Collaborate with Engineers, Technicians, Mechanics Sales personnel and customers to ensure that drawings, manuals, and manufacturing instructions meet the highest quality standards.
What you need :
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience.
- Experience working with SolidWorks or Inventor.
- Experience in complex model FEA.
- Bring experience from a similar industry including automotive, aerospace or industrial manufacturing, and / or other highly regulated industry.
- Experience communicating with various teams regarding engineering projects / product / goals.
- High attention to detail.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
