CNO Test Engineer (Annapolis Junction, MD)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Develop operational test scenarios and produce test artifacts that provide suggestions regarding improvements to the development team.
• Develop test automation scripts using Python scripts that improve performance testing and aid in the reduction of time to market.
• Effectively communicate to the technical team, management, and the customer to keep all parties informed of progress, plans, and potential problems.
• Collaborate with other organizations and teams to thoroughly exercise the system and verify requirements are satisfied.

Required :

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field, and 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience.
• Development experience using Python, Ruby, or Javascript.
• Experience working with and testing embedded systems.
• Knowledge of networks and IP subnets / routing is required.
• Ability to configure network interfaces, set IP addresses, and subnets.
• Familiarity with signal analysis tools such as Wireshark.
• Familiarity with the Linux operating system.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Development experience using SmartBear.
• Familiarity with SVN or GIT version control systems along with an understanding of basic Configuration Management principles.
• Experience using the Atlassian suite.
