Clayton Services is searching for an Entry-Level Civil / Structural Engineer to join a thriving company in Humble, Texas.
The Entry-Level Civil / Structural Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design, analysis, and detailing of platform structures, foundations, and associated connections.
Job Type : Direct-Hire
Pay Rate : $75,000 - $80,000 / annually

Entry-Level Civil / Structural Engineer Responsibilities :
- Conduct preliminary design and cost estimation for project quotations.
- Develop platform structures and associated connection designs.
- Design platform column foundations, including slabs, piers, piles, and footings as needed.
- Utilize software like Fabtrol for materials nesting and creation of shop NC files.
- Prepare client approval drawings, engineering drawings, shipping and lashing drawings, and installation drawings.
Entry-Level Civil / Structural Engineer Skills and Abilities :
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to perform structural analysis using RISA 3D (FEA), MathCad, or similar software.
- Ability to model and detail in Autodesk Advance Steel
- Ability to manage materials utilizing Advance Workshop or comparable software.
Entry-Level Civil / Structural Engineer Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
- 0 - 3 years of experience or university-level course completion in structural steel design and analysis, familiarity with concrete foundation design and analysis.
