ANG SIGNAL is looking for a Proposal Writer to support ANG SIGNAL proposal development work. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing skills and have a background in technical writing.
They will demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities, a keen eye for detail, and the capacity to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze government RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs to determine proposal requirements.
- Develop persuasive and compliant proposals that clearly outline win strategies.
- Engage in all stages of the proposal process, including strategy planning, content development, internal reviews, production, submission, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to capture key concepts while ensuring consistency in messaging and tone.
- Ensure that win themes and messaging are consistent and prominent throughout the proposal.
- Edit and format proposals and other business development documents.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a content library.
- Perform additional technical writing and marketing tasks as needed.
- Strategize on tools and methods to enhance efficiency and accuracy throughout the capture and proposal process.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical proposal writer, preferably in the IT industry.
- Strong understanding of federal and state procurement regulations, guidelines, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software.
