Your Job The Gypsum Division of Georgia Pacific is seeking a Building Envelope Manager (BEM) - Technical Sales Manager to sell our DensDeck® products in the Arizona, New Mexico & Nevada markets.

The BEM will be responsible for defending and growing market share for industry leading commercial glass mat roofing products, as well as launching innovative new solutions to age-old problems within the commercial building space.

Keys to success include identifying and building strong relationships with target influencers within the design community (architects, consultants, general contractors and building owners);

OEM system manufacturers; installing contractors; and distributors in the commercial roofing industry. Every day will be different but have a focus on identifying and building strong relationships with the key influencers around commercial building design and construction.

Key influencers include architects, consultants, general contractors, building owners, facility managers, sub-contractors and distributors.

The business has a clearly defined vision and overall goals.

We are now looking for a full-time team member that will be effective in executing our strategy, with a great deal of autonomy and accountability.

Use Principled Based Management to influence your work daily (e.g., being a principled entrepreneur, sharing knowledge, self-actualization, collaborating with capabilities to execute work) Our Team This position is part of a national team and requires effective collaboration with Marketing, Technical and other Sales team members within GP's Gypsum Business.

With exposure to senior leadership, this position also has growth potential both in role and within the larger Georgia-Pacific and Koch organizations. What You Will Do

  • Proactively keep / practice safety in your role at all times.
  • Meet your annual target volume bet for your territory.
  • Be efficient & effective with your time, travel, and expenses.
  • Travel (up to 50%) within territory frequently to grow relationships with influencers mentioned above.
  • Develop and implement strategies to profitably grow and defend market share.
  • Identify project opportunities via databases (CMD, Dodge, etc.)
  • Establish market presence and be involved with networking and visibility in industry associations (e.g., Regional Contractor Associations, IIBEC, CSI, etc.) & tradeshows.
  • Collaborate as part of the sales process from product selection through installation with influencers.
  • Utilize salesforce CRM as a business planning, collaboration, and communication tool.

Track your progress with territory plan, leads and calendar activities.

Utilize technology to reflect your customers' needs as necessary (i.e., Teams meetings vs.

in person etc.)

  • Serve as a technical product resource, using GP's established literature, testing and claims, for commercial value-added roof and wall products.
  • Quoting, Deviations, Motivation : Apply economic thinking to your territory as a principled entrepreneur.

Applications include a pricing strategy on a job, program or spiff, but could also be how you motivate DMRs, EOLs, etc.

Know and have relationships with key influencers.

You should be highly involved with your top 5 of each of those influencers mentioned above but be continuously looking to develop others and grow brand and product awareness with them.

Lead and collaborate with those DMRs in your territory, using the right balance of motivation and collaboration, they are the force multipliers of your efforts.

Minimum would be to meet with them 1x month to review numbers, upcoming opportunities to collaborate, etc. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Technical sales experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, along with an aptitude for technology
  • Experience presenting technical presentations
  • Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time What Will Put You Ahead
  • Technical & Specification sales experience around commercial building materials with architects, consultants, general contractors, owners and sub-contractors.
  • Experience presenting AIA accredited courses and other educational sessions to commercial building design community.
  • Experience with Dens® roof and wall products or similar products.
  • Experience with Commercial Building Enclosure design and construction practices.
  • Experience using salesforce® as a sales enablement and collaboration tool.
  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Building Construction, or Architecture.
  • Industry credentials : (CDT) Construction Documents Technology; (CCPR) Certified Construction Product Representative; (RRO) Registered Roof Observer.
