This is a Hybrid role and will be based out of our Midwest Corporate HQ in Ann Arbor, MI
The Senior Azure Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. This role requires a deep understanding of IaaS, PaaS, security, networking, and cloud architecture best practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud platform design and development, with a focus on delivering scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure alignment with best practices.
- Configure and manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, web apps, AI resources, storage accounts, networking components, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
- Implement security measures and best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data in Azure environments.
- Optimize Azure infrastructure for performance, cost, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure deployments, networking, and application performance.
- Monitor and maintain Azure services to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline application deployment processes and implement infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest Azure features, services, and trends, and evaluate their potential impact on the infrastructure.
- Design and implement cloud segmentation and micro-segmentation strategies to enhance security and manageability.
- Manage cloud identity and access management (IAM) to ensure secure and efficient user access to Azure resources.
- Proficient in configuring and managing Azure networking components, including virtual networks, subnets, network security groups, and load balancers.
- Skilled in implementing cloud segmentation and micro-segmentation strategies to enhance security and manageability.
- Experience in creating and managing sandbox environments to facilitate testing, development, and experimentation with new technologies and solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with network design and implementation in cloud environments.
