Job Summary
Amundson's Home Appliance Center is expanding and looking for Delivery Drivers / Installers for the Rice Lake, Spooner, Hayward and Eau Claire areas to join our team! As a Delivery Driver, you are a key member of the team! You are responsible for delivering household goods to our clients.
Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.
Earning potential up to $50,000 / year. Paid Time Off the first year. Benefit package and 401K program offered.
This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, energetic, and enjoy helping people. Ideally, you are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities :
- 1 Year delivery driving experience preferred
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes
- Follow route and schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jack in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.
Qualifications :
- Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles, i.e., box truck and express van
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
