We are seeking an Accounting / Administrative Assistant to become an integral part of our team! You will assist project managers in the creation of customer invoices and the controller in all accounting duties..
Responsibilities :
- Create customer invoices using AIA G702 / G703 documents
- Track and record payments from customers
- Responsible for job cost entries into accounting system
- Code and enter vendor invoices and match to purchase orders
- Perform varied accounting and administrative tasks
- Accounts payable and issuing purchase orders
- Subcontractor insurance verification, W-9, and vendor updates
- Request COI's for projects and monitor for compliance
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a commercial construction environment
- QuickBooks / Sage / Timberline experience preferred
- Knowledge of standard accounting procedures
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong attention to detail
- 2+ years of construction accounting / data entry experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, & Outlook)
- Must be responsible, punctual, and work in fast paced environment
