Parts Buyer/Purchasing
Gpac is partnered with a leader in the ag parts manufacturing industry to hire a Parts Buyer for their growing company! This individual will work within the Purchasing Department.
Parts Buyer Responsibilities :
- Assist with activities associated with inventory control on all materials and equipment
- Review material inventory for proper stocking levels, including ensuring material allocations are recorded and maintained in the system
- Prepare system orders in a timely fashion for materials and parts
- Maintain relationships with suppliers
Parts Buyer Requirements :
- Procurement, supply chain, sourcing or materials management
- Operational support experience with a variety of material commodities
- Ability to use a computer proficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge and learn new skills
- Negotiating skills
