Direct Care Provider/Behavioral Health Technician

Direct Care Providers will be eligible for $1,000 sign-on bonus after 60 days of employment and additional $500 after 6 months of employment.

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services are seeking Direct Care Providers / Behavioral Health Technicians to join our Community Living and Inpatient division! As a Direct Care Provider, you will provide screening, assessment, treatment planning, life skills, pre-vocational training, related documentation, case management, crisis intervention, individual and / or group counseling services to SMI members in a residential or inpatient setting.

Pay range : $16 to $18 per hour based on experience and education with benefits.

Schedule : 8-hour and 10-hour shifts available depending on the site. 12-hour shift is offered at an inpatient site. Days, evenings and nights available and may need to work a weekend day.

Location : we have sites available in Phoenix and Mesa

Qualifications :

• Minimum requirement consists of a 21-year age
• A High School Diploma / GED and six months of full-time Behavioral Health experience / integrated health experience; OR
• A related Associate’s degree and six weeks of full-time Behavioral Health / integrated health experience; OR
• A non-related Associate's degree and one year of full-time behavioral health / integrated health experience; OR
• A related bachelor’s degree; OR
• A non-related bachelor's degree plus six months of relevant experience in behavioral health.
• MVR clearance required.
• Must have fingerprint clearance issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or be eligible to receive upon hire (as required per program requirements).
