TX - Cath Lab Special Procedures Tech- Days with Call - BR Housing NOT Included
Midland Health is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Special Procedures Tech Shift and Schedule6 : 00am 2 : 30pm with call Position Summary Practices technology founded upon theoretical knowledge and concepts, uses equipment and accessories consistent with the purposes for which they were designed, and employs procedures and techniques appropriately Assesses situations;
exercises care, discretion, and judgment; assumes responsibility for professional decisions; and acts in the best interest of the patient.
Acts as an agent through observation and communication to obtain pertinent information for the physician to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient and recognizes that interpretation and diagnosis are outside the scope of practice for the profession.
The radiologic technologist uses equipment and accessories, employs techniques and procedures, performs services in accordance with an accepted standard of practice, and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self, and other members of the healthcare team.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Current State of Texas License as a Radiology Technologist. ARRT registered or eligible.
Preferred to have 2 years of experience as a diagnostic technologist. Preferred for the RT(R) to have CV registry 2 years Cath Lab experience is required Housing Is No Longer Provided.
Please secure housing for your traveler. Mask must be work in all areas of the hospital. Hallways, Cafeteria (unless you are dining), Teaming Stations, Department, Common Areas, Etc.
If a traveler is selected for assignment, a FULL State and County Criminal Background Check is required, not limited to 7 years.
