OVERVIEW :

This job is responsible for defining and executing the non-merchandise sourcing and procurement strategy for the Facilities, Construction, and related categories at DICK'S Sporting Goods.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

Implement the category management strategy supported by optimal sourcing and procurement strategies

Actively manage and enhance key supplier relationships

Actively engage in sourcing projects and oversee project execution from a team of analysts

Mitigate overall business risk

Drive process standardization and financial transparency

This job must actively work with internal stakeholders, be viewed as a trusted advisor and be effective presenting to and interacting with executive management

QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Economic, Finance, or related Business Field. MBA (Preferred), CPM / CPSM (Preferred).

7-10 years of experience in Non-Merchandise / indirect sourcing expertise with a focus on facilities and construction, demonstrated experience using sourcing and procurement tools and technology, retail experience is a plus

Strong communication and presentation skills and a comfort around executive management - Expertise in spend data analytics

Strong sourcing and procurement knowledge with pragmatism to manage expectations

Strong negotiation and project management skills

Knowledge of legal contract terminology and conditions
