Job Title : Senior Systems V&V Engineer (1st shift role)
Summary :
We're on the hunt for a seasoned Systems Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer. The chosen candidate will take on the role of a V&V Lead, coordinating all V&V activities essential for the launch of new and updated medical devices.
The focus will be on evaluating and testing the requirements of electromechanical medical devices at various levels. This includes devices like ventilators, sleep therapy devices, oxygen concentrators, personal wellness devices, and their necessary accessories.
Job Responsibilities :
- Adhere to and learn from our internal quality manual.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, providing inputs to project plans and schedules.
- Estimate resource needs for project support.
- Review requirements and scrutinize for testability.
- Develop V&V test plans, test procedures, requirements trace matrices, and test reports.
- Assign project tasks and responsibilities to the V&V team.
- Act as a technical problem solver and advisor to the team to meet schedules.
- Use automated test tools and specialty test equipment; develop and validate novel test methods.
- Execute test procedures both personally and using test technicians.
Skills Required :
- B.S. in engineering / science discipline or equivalent and 7+ years of relevant experience OR M.S. in engineering / science discipline or equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience.
- LabVIEW with Embedded C / C++ / C# experience preferred.
- Web Framework / Webforms experience desired.
- Python, Sequel, and / or Visual Basic considered a plus.
- Experience with Motor Control in embedded systems, System level testing experience, and Software Development process experience is desired.
