About us : Seatown Veterinary Care is a privately owned practice that was opened in 2016. We are seeking a full-time or part-time Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Assistant to join the team.

Join our expanding practice! We currently have a small footprint but are in the process of building a newer and larger facility that will still be in Greenwood.

We currently have 3 Veterinarians, 2 Licensed Veterinary Technicians, 2 Certified Veterinary Assistants, 4 Veterinary Receptionists, 1 Training & Development Specialist, and 1 Veterinary Practice Manager.

com. Job Summary : The primary purpose of the position is to provide quality veterinary medical care to our clients while working in a team environment to ensure that all staff members are aware of the process and tasks needed to provide quality care.

The Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Assistant will also be responsible for providing medical and dental care to our clients and patients.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Veterinary medicine and have strong skills in seeing appointments, performing surgery, and overseeing dental cleanings.

Open availability Monday-Saturday is a requirement of this position. The goal is that all team members only work one Saturday per month, though sometimes that is not possible due to sickness, vacation time, etc.

The ideal candidate will hold themselves to a very high standard, that will match the elevated standard of patient care that we offer to clients at Seatown.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written will be required for this position. We use IDEXX Neo as our in-house practice management software.

All members of the team must utilize excellent time management skills while showing empathy, kindness, and compassion towards our clients, patients, and team members.
