Job Overview

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day maintenance operations of all parts of the facility.

Responsibilities and Duties

This position manages all physical and mechanical aspects of the facility and property, including, but not limited to :

• Directs work and tasks performed during routine maintenance, emergency after hours calls, and facility security
• Oversees maintenance of facility, property and equipment to achieve optimal performance regarding uptime, downtime, availability and utilization
• Manages outside contractors and establishes service contracts
• Develops facility and property maintenance schedules, oversees ordering of maintenance supplies, and schedules general maintenance
• Implements corrective measures or recommends equipment upgrades to minimize equipment and operational downtime
• Oversees work performance and conduct of others who report directly to position
• Ensures safety and OSHA protocols
• Conducts routine safety inspections of facility and property
• Maintains inventory of equipment including tools and necessary spares to keep on hand
• Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts
• Performs other duties as assigned
