JOB DEFINITION :

Work with the CN Guidance MIT Team to deliver services individuals whose needs have not been met by more traditional service delivery approaches.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT :

Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical / Masters Social Worker, Licensed Marriage

and Family Therapist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, or Licensed Creative Arts

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

Three years experience in mental health and / or chemical dependency field.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Charged with supervisory and administrative responsibilities to ensure that staff meets the standards and requirements of the Agency and appropriate funding and regulatory bodies.
• Direct and supervise staff activities, lead team organizational and service planning

meetings and provide direction to staff regarding individual cases. Conduct side-by-side contacts with staff and regularly conduct individual supervision meetings.

Responsible for overseeing Assessment and Service Planning, Quality assurance and

Improvement Processes, Utilization Review, Incident Reporting, coordination between MIT and other systems.

• Engage in performing assessments, handling crisis intervention and discharge planning.
• Provide direct, face-to-face and / or collateral services to recipients either in the MIT office or in the community in places and situations where problems arise.
• Must be available (along with other members of the MIT Team) on an as needed basis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Manages the after-hour's calls for the team.
• Participates in planning for the needs of the community and the Agency with the rest of the administrative team.
• Support the use of data in clinical supervision to inform decision-making
• Identify and implement quality improvement training and activities as part of professional development goals
• Complete QI training during onboarding and participate in QI refresher training as needed.
• Encourage quality improvement processes and provide consistent resources for QI and professional development
• Ability to cultivate a culture of inclusion for all employees that respects their individual strengths, views and experiences.
