Job Title : Case CoordinatorReports to : Director of Housing
Job Summary : Under the direction of the Director of Housing, the Case Coordinator (CC) serves as the primary staff to meet with prospective and active residents at the 306 N.
Brooks Street location. The CC will work with office staff to manage the Brooks Street waiting list. They will meet with prospective residents to begin the application process, collect, maintain and provide necessary information to departments for grant funding.
The CC will work closely with the Peer Specialist (PS) at Brooks Street. The CC and PS work together to assist clients with various applications and appointments, resident requests, and resident conflict resolution
The CC will work with the maintenance department to ensure that resident work orders are completed in a timely manner. The CC will serve as a back-up to the Office Coordinator, which includes answering phone calls, assisting visitors, distributing mail, and collecting rents.
The hours are M-F 8 : 00am-12 : 00pm and 12 : 30pm-4 : 30pm. This is not a Hybrid position.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
- Communicates and works with the Housing Staff to complete any necessary follow-up from interactions (i.e., disputes, requests, etc.);
- Typing case notes, using Word;
- Schedule appointments with Brooks Street residents for the Director of Housing;
- Contact residents to complete necessary annual paperwork;
- Distribute communications to residents from staff (i.e., memos, emails);
- Maintain information on resident storage lockers;
- Update bulletin boards with information pertaining to training, housing, employment, food pantries, etc.;
- Act as lead to resolve resident-to-resident conflict compassionately;
- Perform other duties, and take on additional responsibilities, as requested by the Director of Housing.
