SUMMARY OF POSITION : n n n

n The Level I Electrophysiology Technologist is responsible for assisting the physician(s) with all adult diagnostic and interventional Electrophysiology procedures.
Primary clinical roles include scrubbing and circulating. n

n n MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S) : n n
- n The Level I Electrophysiology Technologist will possess either : n
- n n Graduate of an associate or higher academic program in related health science, or n n
- n n Two (2) years full-time work experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and / or cardiac electrophysiology laboratory. n n
- n Must obtain RCES -Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist certification within 36 months from date of hire.
Administered by Cardiovascular Credentialing International. n
n Must obtain BLS and ACLS certifications within 3 months from date of hire. n
