Amick Brown is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (EDW) for our direct client.
Location : San Jose, CA
Duration : 7 months
Estimated pay range : 64 - 80 per client contract and candidate skills, experience, and work location.
Job Description
This position will serve as a primary point of contact for all analytics related to AMP Master Project and AMP Billing solution supporting the Commercial Analytics / FP&A, Account Receivable, Accounting, Pricing, and Revenue teams.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability working with business / functional leads to understand the business process flows and source system (SAP / SFDC) dependencies.
- Experience collecting requirements and artifacts for data model design and implementation.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Validate the accuracy and relevance of the models by analyzing their outputs and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide ongoing support to business users, addressing their questions and concerns related to data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Understanding of Data quality and governance best practices / methodologies.
- Create and maintain user guides, reference manuals, and training materials as appropriate.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a highly analytical role.
- Prior experience working with Finance and Billing data (Quote to Cash, GL).
- Prior experience in at least one or both ERP systems is preferred (SAP and SFDC).
- 3+ years of experience creating visualizations with Tableau.
- Strong SQL skills, ability to perform optimized querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
- Strong problem-solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
