WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR :
St. Johnland is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Recreation Assistant to join our team! As a Recreation Assistant you will support our Rec Therapy Department, helping our residents achieve physical, emotional, and social well-being through engaging activities and programs.

Responsibilities include :
- Conducting individual recreation programs
- Participating in facility wide events
- Documenting program attendance and participation
- Following care plans, safety guidelines and ensuring the well-being of our resident population
- Encouraging resident participation, socialization, and community engagement
WHAT YOU NEED :
Requirements / Qualifications)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- 1-year previous experience in Nursing Home Recreation preferred
- Therapeutic Recreation Certificate preferred
- Compassionate and positive attitude
- Commitment to providing exceptional care and service to our residents
