Job Description
The primary function of this position is to deliver and retrieve auto parts, supplies and other items. You will be working between our two Columbia County stores, Scappoose and St.
Helens helping to provided service for each store's customers.
It is essential to be able to do this in a safe and timely manner and according to instructions from management. Communication is key with this position due to delivery changes, route adjustments, road conditions and closers.
You will be trained to use our delivery tracker and will need to be conferrable with technology.
Some maintenance functions of delivery vehicles such as changing wipers & filters, airing tiers and completing vehicle checks.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and pass our insurance DMV check.
- Must be able to pass a drug test screening, including Marijuana.
- Must be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing sequences of numbers and letters accurately.
- Must be capable of lifting and moving parts of up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to use moving aids designed to move heavier items including hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc.
- Must be able to bend or stoop to ground level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves, with use of step stool or ladder when necessary.
Ability to drive a maul is preferred.
