Our client, a dynamic company based in Buffalo, NY, is seeking a highly skilled Senior JavaScript / React Developer to join their team on a 2-month consulting project.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an exciting project and work with a talented team.
This is a remote / full-time / 2-month contract position
Hourly based on experience : Up to $100 / hr
Project Overview :
Our client is working on an important project to ship a new feature within an existing application. As a Senior JavaScript / React Developer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of this feature.
Your expertise will be invaluable in guiding the team through complex development challenges and ensuring best practices are followed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the existing development team to design, develop, and implement a new feature within the application.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using JavaScript and React.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring optimal performance of the application.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning and execution of the project.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Senior JavaScript / React Developer.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, and related technologies.
- Experience with front-end development tools and frameworks.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience working on large-scale applications.
- Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
