The Eli Coleman Institute for Sexual and Gender Health at the University of Minnesota Medical School invites nominations and applications for the inaugural Beatrice Bean Robinson Endowed Chair in Clinical Sexual Health.

ABOUT THE ELI COLEMAN INSTITUTE FOR SEXUAL AND GENDER HEALTH

The Eli Coleman Institute for Sexual and Gender Health (ISGH) is a venerated and vibrant leader in the field, conducting research, education, clinical care, and advocacy work locally, nationally, and internationally.

These four focus areas are the pillars of ISGH’s work. ISGH currently is the largest academic sexual and gender health center in the United States and has profoundly impacted thousands of people’s lives through its clinical services.

ISGH faculty have educated more medical students in human sexuality than any other medical school in the world and ISGH has trained more postdoctoral fellows than any other institution in the field.

ISGH’s educational programs extend beyond the university, including a popular community health education series, Sex Science Happy Hour, which takes place in local breweries on a bimonthly basis.

ISGH continues to grow its community partnerships with local organizations as well as international professional organizations in the field.

Meanwhile, we maintain a research program with over $1 million in grant funding annually, with research projects ranging from local to international.

ABOUT THE BEATRICE BEAN ROBINSON ENDOWED CHAIR IN CLINICAL SEXUAL HEALTH

This endowed chair position has been made possible through the generosity of over 100 donors and the extraordinary efforts of Dr.

Bean Robinson (pictured), Dr. Eli Coleman, and the University of Minnesota Foundation.The candidate selected for this position will serve as the inaugural Beatrice Bean E.

Robinson, Ph.D. Endowed Chair in Clinical Sexual Health at the Eli Coleman Institute for Sexual and Gender Health. They will be hired at a rank commensurate with experience and this is a tenure-eligible position.

They will support the development and expansion of clinical outcome research that contributes to the advancement of sex therapy and sexual health.

The successful candidate’s own research and clinical practice in sexual health will complement existing ISGH priorities and support sustained excellence and continued growth in clinical excellence within ISGH.
