Salary : $30 / hour

Overview : As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of landscaping projects, encompassing both design / build construction and maintenance.

The Project Manager ensures that projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget by coordinating schedules, resources, and communication among the landscaping team, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Skill Set & Educational Requirements :

  • Minimum of five years of experience in project management, preferably in the landscaping or construction industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, or a related field preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and must be insurable on the company's insurance policy
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and project management software
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong client relationships
  • Ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively
  • Knowledge of landscaping industry best practices and principles is a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of personnel, equipment, and materials for projects.
  • Maintain and update project schedules, ensuring all tasks are on track.
  • Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their project needs and preferences.
  • Prepare and present detailed project proposals, plans, and budgets.
  • Work closely with the landscaping and design teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide leadership and direction to team members, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflow.
  • Facilitate coordination between different departments to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Ensure the efficient use of resources, minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
  • Coordinate the transportation and delivery of materials and equipment to job sites.
  • Track and report on project expenses, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely billing.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure work meets high standards of quality and client expectations.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or deviations from project plans.
  • Prepare and distribute project-related reports and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and communications.
  • Present regular project status updates to management and clients.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
