About Us Minnesota Care Counseling Services, Inc. (MNCCS) is a community-based agency that provides waiver case management, mental health, housing, and foster care services across the Twin Cities.

We are contracted with Ramsey County and serve over 700 clients annually with culturally responsive, person-centered care.

Position Summary We are seeking a Director of Waiver Case Management to lead our Waiver Case Management Department.

This role provides strategic direction, ensures compliance with Minnesota DHS and county requirements, and drives revenue growth.

The Director will supervise case managers, handle escalations, and serve as the primary liaison with Ramsey County.

Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the Waiver Case Management Department, setting goals and monitoring performance.

Supervise and support case managers, providing coaching, training, and handling escalated issues.

Ensure compliance with DHS and county regulations, audits, and reporting requirements.

Drive departmental revenue growth while maintaining high-quality, client-centered services.

Serve as the main point of contact with Ramsey County and represent MNCCS in meetings and audits.

Collaborate with other MNCCS programs to coordinate services and strengthen client outcomes.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of experience in waiver case management or related human services. 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of Minnesota DHS waiver programs and county contracting.

Proven ability to balance compliance, staff performance, and revenue goals.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
