Description

SAIC's Software Delivery Team SOTL is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Principal Product Owner to join our dynamic full-stack development team.

As a pivotal leader and Senior Principal Product Owner, your role is instrumental in molding our product landscape, driving our strategic execution with an Agile mindset, and championing DevSecOps best practices within a cloud-centric infrastructure.

This role plays a critical part in shaping our product portfolio's strategic direction, employing Agile Scrum methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and leveraging cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate possesses robust leadership skills, a proven track record in product ownership, and excels in an innovative, fast-paced environment.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive the roadmap, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery of high-quality products meeting customer needs and company objectives.

Your role entails a blend of strategic planning and hands-on product ownership throughout the product lifecycle. This role offers the flexibility of 100% remote work from anywhere within the US.

Responsibilities :

Drive the strategic vision and execution of our product roadmap

Define and prioritize application features aligned with user requirements, company objectives, and strategic needs.

Craft detailed product requirements, specifications, and user stories for our development teams.

Conduct comprehensive analysis of internal processes, gathering user feedback to inform product decisions.

Partner with diverse teams (IT, Operations, HR, Finance, etc.) to ensure our applications meet varied departmental requirements.

Monitor key metrics, user engagement, and usability data to drive continuous enhancements.

Communicate product strategy, progress, and results effectively to internal stakeholders and leadership.

Participate in CI / CD processes, focusing on DevSecOps practices to integrate security and reliability into our product development.

Qualifications

Requirements :

An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline

14 years experience in technology-focused roles

U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret clearance

Extensive product owner expertise in technology-driven environments.

Proven experience in Agile Scrum methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and AWS or other cloud platform products.

Strong leadership, project management, and customer-centric approach.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Target salary range : $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy : SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
