Job Summary
Seeking an Engineering Technician V with a minimum of 8 years of related experience. The role involves developing site drainage, grading, and utility plans using Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation.
Responsibilities include producing site plans, detailed engineering drawings, and converting field survey data into topographic drawings.
The candidate must have experience with Civil 3D, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam, along with a strong understanding of engineering standards, systems, and company policies.
Job Description
- Assist with the development of site drainage, grading, and utility plans using Autodesk Civil 3D. Working knowledge of Bentley MicroStation is also preferable.
- Collaborate with team members to produce site plans, detailed engineering drawings, profiles, construction drawings, and details.
- Convert field survey data into topographic survey drawings and surfaces suitable for producing site plans and construction drawings.
- Apply intermediate knowledge of engineering standards, systems, document control, departmental guides, and Company policies and procedures.
- Stay updated with industry knowledge and technology trends.
- Ensure deliverables comply with the company quality program.
- Interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned.
- Understand basic construction and constructability practices and principles.
- Apply basic engineering design principles and applicable design guides related to the assigned engineering discipline.
Skills Required
- Required Software Skills : Autodesk Civil 3D Bentley MicroStation (2D / 3D) Autodesk AutoCAD Bluebeam
- Qualifications : Civil design / site layout experience using Civil 3D and / or MicroStation. Typically, a minimum of 8 years of related work experience.
Education / Training / Certifications
- Diploma or Certificate preferred.
- Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
