About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : ICU Job Duration : 8 weeks Shift : Night, 4x12-Hour (18 : 30 - 07 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 1 year in profession License : Registered Nurse Certifications : ACLS, BLS, TNCC or TCAR, NIH stroke scale Must-Have : - 6 hours of total stroke education (can be provided if needed)- EKG course completion (can be provided if needed)- Must be willing to float between Medical-Surgical / Telemetry and Emergency Room (for Critical Care holds) Job Description : - Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor and assess patient's health conditions, respond to changes in patient's status.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Utilize Cerner for charting and documentation, experience preferred.- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures regarding healthcare practices.
- Flu vaccine required; medical / religious exemptions and declinations allowed.
