As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. You will be relied upon to communicate clearly and respond promptly to any security-related concerns, all while upholding the highest standards of integrity and teamwork. This position is a driving post, requiring you to meet company driver policy requirements. Pay Rate : $17.85 / Hour

DayTimeSat02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PMSun02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with attention to areas typical of chemical and petrochemical locations.
  • Monitor for and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or potential threats within the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities as required by Allied Universal and the site.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and client protocols regarding access control, visitor management, and property protection at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
