OC Certified Medical Assistant/ LPN- Issaquah Urgent Care (Per Diem)

Per-Diem / Days, Evenings and Weekends

16 hours per paid period or 32 hours in 1 month. Must work 4 shifts a month and can take them all in one stretch in one 2 week pay period.

Clinic is open every day from 7am to 11pm

Overlake Clinics has a per diem opportunity for a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Issaquah Urgent Care Clinic.

Per Diem staff are required to work at least 4 shifts per month. This clinic is open every day from 7 : 00am-11 : 00pm great opportunity for those seeking days , evening and weekend hours .

Job responsibilities include greeting and preparing patients for the healthcare practitioner, obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for routine and specialty procedures, collecting specimens, and documenting patient interactions via electronic medical record.

Qualifications

Medical Assistant :

High School Diploma or GED required.

Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or previous military training / experience that satisfies Washington state standards required.

Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) or Interim MA-C through WA State DOH required (the latter must obtain regular MA-C within 6-months of hire).

Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.

Excellent customer service and communication skills required.

Experience with EMR applications, EPIC preferred.

LPN :

Graduate of accredited school of licensed practical nursing required.

Currently licensed in Washington State required.

Healthcare Provider CPR certification required.

One year of clinic experience preferred.
