Description
Duties and Essential Functions :

- Provide helpful and exceptional service to the customer.
- Accept and register food and perishable items delivered by third party companies.
- Deliver food and perishable items to the residential units.
- Pay attention to the activity at the customers table. Refill beverages timely and without the customer requesting a refill.
- Deal with resident complaints or problems in a positive manner.
Supervision :
This position reports and takes direction from the General Manager
Work Environment :
This position operates primarily indoors in the front desk area of the residential high-rise building. Noise level is moderate.
Physical Demands :
- Must be able to stand and move swiftly throughout shift.
- Must be able to reach, bend, kneel, climb, push, pull or lift items weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Requires auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written or oral instructions and procedures
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :
This is a full-time hourly position. The work schedule may change throughout the year to accommodate the business needs of the property.
Hours of operation include nights and holidays.
Travel :
Travel is not expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience :
- High school diploma or food safety training
- Proven experience working in a restaurant as a server or related position.
- Excellent customer service and communications skills
- Problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere
