GPAC is working with a prestigious law firm specializing in trusts and estates. We are committed to providing top-notch legal services to our clients.
To support our team of dedicated attorneys, we are seeking a highly organized and skilled PART TIME REMOTE Associate to assist our staff.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Administer trusts; prepare estate administration documents
- Distribution, allocation and funding of sub-trusts
- Preparation and review of accounts, estate tax returns, and gift tax returns
- Oversee court matters from the filing of a petition to recieving filed order from the court.
- Attend Court proceedings, remotely or in-person as needed.
Requirements :
- 2+ years’ experience in trusts and estates.
- Be able to support estate planning, trust, and probate practices.
- Excellent organization, computer skills and math skills
- Ability to analyze facts and discovery to apply to statutes and case law on point
- Member of the Connecticut Bar is required.
