Position Overview
The People Analyst will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to recruitment, retention, and legal compliance.
This position plays a vital role in collecting, structuring, analyzing, and reporting HR processes and data. Key competencies include data analysis, relationship management, HR expertise, communication, HR systems, and cultural awareness.
Position Responsibilities
Typical to the role include but not limited to :
- In collaboration with the leadership team, perform a wide range of specialized Human Resources functions related to recruitment, selections, employment processing, and onboarding.
- Liaison between HR, Payroll, IT and other departments to develop technology solutions that help streamline and automate HR / internal processes
- Utilize strong analytical and leadership skills to coordinate, facilitate, and implement processes relating to credentialing, recruitment, classification, employee records, and required human resources reporting.
- In collaboration with leadership, collect and compile HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the Human Resources information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management, and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, statistics, and other sources.
- Analyze data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
- Identify and recommend reasonable short and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
- Maintain integrity and confidentiality of departmental records and employee documentation.
- Ensure system data integrity and accuracy conduct regularly scheduled reviews and audits of information input / reports to validate and / or reconcile data.
Skills / Education / Experience
- Five years of progressively responsible human resources experience, including HRIS, handling sensitive personnel issues.
- Experience in the following human resources areas : recruitment, retention, training, total rewards, performance management, leadership development, employee and labor relations experience, and legal compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in employment law, regulatory knowledge, and reporting compliance.
- Strong understanding of and experience using technology and automation solutions governing human resources.
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or closely related field.
Additional desired skills
- 5 years of HRIS experience (Workday, UKG, ADP, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
- Experience and understanding in system integrations and file feeds
- Project management experience
- Experience in Cognos BI (People Analytics), Crystal Reports, SQL

$82,000 - 107,000 / year*
