Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of risk management strategies aligned with agency objectivesConduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for critical projects, including IT modernization and cloud migrationsMonitor risk indicators and maintain a risk register to ensure accountability and transparencyRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Public Administration, or related field (or 8+ years of relevant experience)5-8 years of experience in risk management or related fields, preferably in a federal agency or large organizationStrong knowledge of federal risk management frameworks, including NIST SP 800-37 and FISMAExperience in developing risk mitigation strategies and monitoring risk controls for complex programsExperience working in a federal government environment, with familiarity in IT risk management practices
