We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Hose Technician . The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
As a Mechanical Hose Technician, you will be responsible for the mobile installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical hoses used in a variety of applications.
- Pay : $18 - $20 / hr
- Schedule : Mon - Sat 7am - 5 / 5 : 30pm
- Type : FT and long-term
Key Responsibilities :
- Installation : Properly install mechanical hoses according to specifications and industry standards. This includes measuring, cutting, fitting, and securing hoses to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Maintenance : Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on mechanical hoses to identify any signs of wear, damage, or deterioration.
Perform repairs or replacements as necessary to prevent leaks, malfunctions, or failures.
Troubleshooting : Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical hose issues, such as leaks, blockages, or pressure fluctuations.
Utilize problem-solving skills and technical knowledge to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Compliance : Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols governing the installation and operation of mechanical hoses.
Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Documentation : Maintain accurate records of installation, maintenance, and repair activities, including inspection reports, work orders, and equipment specifications.
Keep detailed documentation to track maintenance schedules, parts inventory, and equipment history.
Collaboration : Work closely with other team members, including engineers, technicians, and project managers, to coordinate activities and achieve project objectives.
Communicate effectively to share information, provide updates, and address any issues or concerns.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in mechanical technology, plumbing, or a related field is preferred.
- MUST HAVE A VALID NONEXPIRED DRIVERS LICENSE
- Must be able to provide proper identification and pass a drug test
- Proven experience as a mechanical technician, hose technician, or similar role, preferably in a relevant industry such as manufacturing, construction, or automotive.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and fluid dynamics is a plus.
- Familiarity with reading technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
