Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room

Location : Fort Walton Beach, FL

Shift : 12-Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM)

Schedule : 3 Shifts Per Week (36 Hours)

Salary Range : $27.72 - $39.60 per hour

Job Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Emergency Room RN to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with varying degrees of injury and illness.

The ideal candidate will be a quick thinker, effective decision-maker, and adept multitasker, ready to adapt to the challenges that arise in an emergency setting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality care is delivered.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, prescribing strategies and alternatives to meet expected outcomes.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously, providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs as they arise.
• Collaborate with physicians and other departments, ensuring patient-focused and safe care at all times.
• Provide follow-up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans in accordance with hospital policies.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience within the last 3 years (trauma experience preferred).
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or ability to obtain licensure prior to start.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (must be obtained within 60 months of hire).
• Trauma experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage emergency situations with confidence.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
