Position : Product Engineer

Location : India (Permanent Remote)

Experience required : Minimum 2 years of product engineering experience

Assessment Test : (based on role requirement) will be required to take a skill assessment test prior to the interview.

Shift : 04 : 00 pm 1 am IST

Work hours : Total 9 hrs (8.5 hrs working + Half an hour meal break)

CTC : As per market standards

Notice period : (Immediate joiner preferred) candidate with 30 days notice period preferred.

Job Type : Permanent

Must have Broadband availability : Min 30 MBPS (national service provider JIO / TATA / Airtel Hathway etc)

Important : Access to a quiet home office environment with above-mentioned broadband availability and working space to accommodate two monitors + 1 Laptop.

Job Summary :

A leading manufacturer of decorative high-end plumbing fixtures is seeking a Product Engineer. Product design improvement and development are critical to Brasstech’s success in this fast-paced and highly competitive market.

The Product Engineer will assume responsibility for ensuring that the engineering specifications for existing and newly introduced products are maintained and / or revised to meet our evolving sourcing and manufacturing strategies.

This position will report directly to the Engineering Manager.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

• Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to provide mechanical design solutions.
• Responsible for creating and developing functional products.
• Provide detailed manufacturing drawings, sub-assemblies, and assemblies.
• Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and GD&T.
• Prepare all necessary design documentation for production release.

Must have key skills :

• Good English speaking and written skills.
• Min 2 years relevant experience in product engineering.
• Minimum of 2,000 hours of CREO with thorough knowledge of surfacing, family tables, and Intralink Environment.
• Demonstrate analytical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to identify and correct design issues.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes.

Must demonstrate effective skills in problem-solving, continuous improvement, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Education, Experience, and Other Requirements :

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering.
