A leading bedside diagnostic and clinical services company specializing in serving post-acute care patients is seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray technology located in Anaheim, CA.

As the Radiologic Technologist , you will provide mobile X-ray and EKG (if applicable) service to nursing homes, health care facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit / transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Unload portable X-ray equipment and take it into facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician. Must obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-ray images.
  • Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. (if required)
  • Scan exam-related paperwork / billing documents on a daily basis per protocol.
  • Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
  • Communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
  • Maintain vehicle and x ray equipment.

Requirements

  • ARRT, current (Must Have)
  • X-ray licensures for (California)
  • Flexibility in work hours to meet the needs of the clients.
  • California RT License, VA / WV licenses are a plus but not required / Limited license not accepted.
  • The Radiologic Technologists may push / pull anywhere from 50 100 lbs.
  • With the use of vehicle ramps and pulleys, this weight decreases. When the tech is pushing / pulling the equipment in a facility or home;

however, the weight can increase. 50 lbs of force (or more) can occur 16 to 24 times a day.

  • Location : Anaheim, CA
  • Hourly Pay : $36.00 - $38.00
  • Day Shift
  • Full Time : Monday - Friday 11 am - 7 : 30 pm
  • Part-Time : Friday Sunday 8 am - 9 pm (with rotating weekends, on-call, holidays, etc.) (meaning it is basically every other weekend, and on-call hours could be in play)
  • Weekend Requirements : Based on caseload - will constitute overtime if needed.
  • On-Call Requirements : Yes - discussed at interview.
  • Possible Relocation : Yes - discussed at the interview.
  • State Licensure Reimbursement : Yes - after 90 days of employment.
