Lead DevOps Software Engineer (Hybrid-Flexible Options)

Broadridge is hiring! We’re seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our Digital Transformation team supporting modern FinTech SaaS platforms.

This is the perfect opportunity for an energetic engineer with a keen interest in DevOps to help us provide best in class FinTech SaaS solutions.

We are made up of high-performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote as well as being in the office 2x a week.

Responsibilities

• Help to build and operate highly reliable production environments hosted on public cloud infrastructure.
• Be responsible for availability, latency, performance, efficiency, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning.
• Continually improve our operations, deployment, and provisioning tools through automation.
• Monitor security, stability, and performance of customer environments.
• Work closely with our Development and Finance teams to provide operational support to our clients.
• Continuously improve all processes and help contribute to improvements in upstream development.
• Help us build a world-class platform and champion security, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience as either a Developer with DevOps experience, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer, Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Exposure to AWS or Oracle cloud-based infrastructure.
• Source control and continuous integration (e.g. Git, GitLab, GitHub).
• Build and deployment (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, AWS CodeBuild, JFrog).
• Infrastructure provisioning (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Configuration management (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Monitoring and alerting systems (e.g. CloudWatch, Prometheus & Grafana, Datadog).
• Automation mindset with some automation / scripting experience.
• Understanding systems performance, tuning, and monitoring.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and configuration.
• An understanding of best practices for operating a secure environment on public cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
• Good troubleshooting skills across different parts of the stack.

Also Desirable Experience

• Modern programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Go, Rust).
• Container technologies (e.g. Docker).
• Container orchestration (e.g. Nomad, Kubernetes).
• Databases (e.g. SQL like PostgreSQL and NoSQL like DynamoDB).

Compensation Range : The salary range for this position is between $140,000 - $160,000. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
