job_description.job_card.job_descriptionThe ideal candidate will be reliable, organized and self-sufficient. Minimum of 5 years’ experience or technical training with Building Automation Systems. Strong understanding of HVAC Systems to include chilled / hot water central plant control sequences. Rotating on call for emergency service required Applicant should be self-motivated and able to work overtime as needed. Able to communicate with others both written and orally Valid Driver’s license and good driving record required Able to travel locally as required Mobility within the office and on construction job sites Ability to climb ladders Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds Compensation : Highly competitive compensation program with profit sharing. Overtime opportunities are readily available. Immediate need of an experienced Building Automation Systems Service Technician. Job duties include troubleshooting, repair and service of Building Automation Systems.
Technical Skills :
- Ability to understand electrical wiring diagrams and circuits. Candidates should have a background in Building Automation, HVAC, or the electrical field for this position.
- Must be able to troubleshoot electrical controls with a multi-meter.
- Knowledge of temperature control systems, air conditioning / heating systems (HVAC), computer systems, electronics or networked applications.
- Experience with systems / software such as Tridium, Andover Controls, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Reliable, CSI, TAC, Siemens, Automated Logic, Schneider Electric, Trane, PLCs or Alerton is a plus.
