Job Overview :
A law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking experienced attorneys to join its Securitization / Structured Finance practice. The ideal candidates will have substantial experience in securitization and structured finance and a strong background in CLO, CMBS, Repo, and other ABL finance transactions.
This role offers an opportunity to work on complex financial transactions and collaborate with a dynamic team of attorneys.
Duties :
- Draft and negotiate securitization and structured finance agreements, including CLOs, CMBS transactions, repos, and asset-backed loans (ABL).
- Conduct due diligence and review legal documents related to securitization and structured finance transactions.
- Provide legal advice and strategic counsel to clients on complex financial matters.
- Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements :
- Experience : Minimum of 3 years practicing law, focusing on securitization, structured finance, and structured products.
- Skills : Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Education : Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Credentials : Excellent academic credentials and a proven track record of success in a law firm environment.
- Bar Admission : Admission to the Bar in Washington, DC, preferred.
Certifications :
Preferred certifications include specialized training in securitization, structured finance, or related financial law courses.
Skills :
- Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
