JOB DESCRIPTION
Do you have product design experience, and are you seeking a new contract role in Manhattan? Horizontal Talent is helping a collaborative company recruit a Product Development Consultant, and the role comes with an attractive pay rate.
As Product Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the development of prototype products and monitoring the overall development process for the product line.
You'll also act as the point person on development details with vendor partners and act as a point of contact for product development details.
During your first few weeks in this Product Development role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following :
- Coordinate the workflow of weekly updates to ensure composites are used as a timely communication tool with vendors, production, technical, and merchandising
- Track development to assure execution is within timeframes
- Communicate design development details.
To apply for this Product Development Coordinator role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include :
- Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience
- 1-5 years of product design / development experience
- Centric PLM knowledge
- Costing experience.
