Description

Trident Industries is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving growth for Trident Industries.

This role involves working closely with the marketing, and engineering teams to develop strategies that expand our market presence and enhance our service offerings in the civil engineering and construction sectors.

Requirements

Market Research and Analysis

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze market data to develop actionable insights and strategies for business growth.
  • Develop and maintain a database of contacts that include industry connections

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management :

  • Identify and engage potential clients through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Strategic Planning and Execution :

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans that align with Trident Industries' goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective marketing campaigns and sales strategies.

Proposal Development and Negotiation :

  • Prepare and present compelling proposals, contracts, and bids to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with clients to secure profitable contracts.

Project Coordination :

  • Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure successful delivery of services and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise to ensure client expectations are met.

Performance Tracking and Reporting :

  • Track and report on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to senior management on business development initiatives and outcomes.

Qualifications : Education :

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Experience :

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the civil engineering or construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and closing new business opportunities.

Skills :

  • Strong understanding of the civil engineering and construction markets, including key players and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
