IT Hardware Asset and Inventory Specialist (Onsite)

Asset Management Professional

Raytheon Digital Technology is seeking an Asset Management professional to join our IT Asset Management team at our El Segundo, California location. This role involves managing IT hardware assets such as desktops, laptops, servers, racks, and other peripherals used in classified program spaces. Our Asset Management team focuses on efficient tracking, management, and optimization of our inventory processes to ensure faster hardware delivery times to classified program work areas.

What You Will Do :

• Maintain order status by tracking inventory in the database.
• Develop and implement space planning strategies for efficient hardware inventory management.
• Oversee the shipping and handling of IT equipment, including packaging, generating shipping labels, and conducting thorough shipment research.
• Manage and coordinate the delivery, pickup, and relocation of assets within storage areas.
• Conduct quarterly inventories to ensure asset records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Foster and sustain strong customer service relationships with various teams, providing exceptional support for their hardware management needs.
• Implement comprehensive asset tagging processes to maintain organization and accountability.
• Take ownership of capital equipment management within the Property Management System.
• Notify Capital Management to initiate equipment depreciation upon deployment.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for any inquiries or issues related to capital property management.

The salary range for this role is 72,000 USD - 144,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the companys performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
