Role Description :
As a Senior Technical Lead Data Modeling at Incedo, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the data infrastructure, including data modeling and data warehouse solutions using the Data Vault methodology, ensuring its performance, scalability, and security.
You will be skilled in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP and. You will be responsible for configuring and optimizing the Azure environment, ensuring that data pipelines are efficient and accurate, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
You will also work with the security team to ensure that the Azure environment is secure and complies with relevant regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable and efficient data models using the Data Vault methodology.
- Design and develop data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into the data warehouse from various source systems.
- Work closely with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize data infrastructure and ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across all data processes and systems.
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and oversight.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data systems and applications.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data engineering, data modeling, and Data Vault methodology.
- Create and maintain documentation for data models, ETL processes, and data infrastructure architecture.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues in a timely manner.
Skills Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Lead Data Engineer or similar role, with expertise in Data Modeling and Data Vault methodology.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Hands-on experience with data modeling tools (e.g., ER / Studio, ERwin) and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Apache Spark).
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, data integration, and data storage.
- Experience in designing and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes for large-scale data sets.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
