The Work

We are seeking a Software Configuration Analyst to join our team on the Joint Strike Fighter Training, Logistics & Simulation program, a cutting-edge program that provides training and simulation solutions. As a member of the Configuration Management team, your mission is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of software configurations delivered to customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of software configurations across various systems and applications. This role requires a strong understanding of software configuration management principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

As a Member of the Software Configuration team, you will :

  • Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining CM processes and procedures that meet organizational and industry standards
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, manufacturing, and customer representatives, to ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards
  • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with software configuration management standards and regulations
  • Assist in develop and maintain software configuration management metrics and reports
  • Participate in the development and review of software configuration management processes and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date configuration data, including product information, documentation, and records
  • Analyze problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions to CM-related issues
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the business unit

Note – This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.
