Job Description
- Care for adult to geriatric patients with a range of diagnoses including ARDS, Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI, DKA, post-op complications, and more.
- Prepare for a possible patient ratio of 1 : 2-3 with an average daily census of 19 in a 24-room unit.
- Utilize various unit systems such as Pyxis, Epic, and SBAR.
- Wear navy blue scrubs while on duty.
- Adhere to holiday work requirements based on the assignment period :
- Work one major holiday if it falls during the assignment.
- Work two holidays if the assignment period includes three major holidays.
- Full compliance is required to begin on time, with compliance documentation due by the Tuesday prior to start.
- Local candidates may be considered.
- Orientation comprises 13 hours.
Additional Information
- Candidates must be ready to submit required documentation and complete / schedule labs within 48 hours of contract signing to ensure an on-time start.
- References from at least two supervisors, preferably management level, are highly preferred.
